The proper functioning of chain conveyor chains is critical to the efficiency and safety of the production line.
Selection Based on Load: For light-load materials, a single-row chain is suitable; for heavy loads, a multi-row chain should be selected to enhance load-bearing capacity.
Matching the Operating Environment: For humid environments, the use of stainless steel chains is recommended;
For high-temperature environments, heat-resistant chains must be selected.
Ensure Installation Precision:
The axes of the two sprockets must be parallel, and their centerlines must be aligned to prevent chain misalignment and accelerated wear.
The chain tension should be moderate; typically, a sag of approximately 2% of the center distance between the two sprockets is considered ideal. If the chain is too loose, it is prone to skipping teeth or disengaging; if it is too tight, it will increase wear and operational load.
Maintain Cleanliness: Prevent debris and fragments from entering the chain track to avoid chain jamming or abnormal noises.
All maintenance, adjustments, or cleaning procedures must be performed while the equipment is shut down and the power supply is disconnected; a warning sign must be posted at the power source.
